If your roof was damaged by hail or wind, the replacement may be covered by your homeowners insurance. We can help you through the claim, and once your insurance company approves the scope of work we begin planning your project, including cost agreements, material selection, the timeline and a start date.
Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are also available. Class 4 roof systems carry a five-year workmanship warranty, and our representative completes and signs the Texas Department of Insurance affidavit of installation. FAQs
Roof Replacement FAQs
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes are finished in one day. Larger or steeper roofs can take longer, and weather can move the start date.
How much does a new roof cost?
The cost depends on the size and pitch of the roof, the number of layers being removed, the condition of the decking and the material you choose. Our roof cost calculator gives you a general range, and we can give you an accurate price with a free estimate.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
Residential roofs generally carry a two-year workmanship warranty, and Class 4 roof systems carry five years. The shingles also carry the manufacturer's warranty, and we can offer CertainTeed ShingleMaster coverage as a credentialed contractor.
What if the decking is damaged?
Damaged decking has to be replaced before the new roof is installed. Decking cannot be fully checked until the old roof is removed, so the amount needed is confirmed during the tear-off. On an insurance claim, additional decking can often be added through a supplement.
Can I finance a new roof?
Yes. High Pointe participates in the Wells Fargo Home Projects credit card program, which offers flexible financing for home improvement projects. Ask us about it when you schedule your estimate.
